“Suiteheart Sweepstakes” from Sandals helps celebrate Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day this year falls on this Friday, February 14, just in case you weren’t aware.  Everyone including retailers, brands, restaurants and other businesses all have been providing us with ways on how best to celebrate. This holiday appears to get bigger and bigger each year.

One of our long-standing clients, Sandals Resorts, has gotten in the love mood this year with a special Valentine’s Day sweepstakes called “The Suiteheart Sweepstakes”. Sandals is giving one Grand Prize Winner the chance to stay at a “Love Nest Butler Suite” and enjoy an ultimate luxury vacation. The sweepstakes started on February 1 and runs till February 29, yes it is a leap year. All people have to do is visit the Sandals website at www.sandals.com/Suiteheart2020 and fill out the entry form to gain an entry into the sweepstakes.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a Sandals 7day/6night “Luxury Included” accommodations for two in a Love Nest Suite at any Sandals resort that they can choose from located in Jamaica, Antigua, Saint Lucia, The Bahamas, Barbados or Grenada. Each Butler suite offers the utmost in privacy and plush elegance, including 24-hour room service with professionally trained butlers.

The “Luxury Included” amenities include local airport transfers, unlimited 5-Star Global Gourmet dining at up to 16 restaurants per resort, unlimited beverages and premium brand drinks, daily and nightly entertainment, land and water sport activities at the resort (scuba diving for certified divers), wi-fi, tips and gratuities and resort taxes. The only thing not included is the airfare to any of the islands. Total prize value is $6,500.

Maycation Giveaway from Sandals honors moms, teachers, nurses and military persons who “rock”

This Sunday, May 12, is Mother’s Day just in case you weren’t aware. All forms of media, TV, Social, Internet, have been reminding us with ads and emails full of gift suggestions for moms.  Everyone including retailers, brands, restaurants and other businesses all have provides us with ways on how best to celebrate the moms in our lives.

One of our clients, Sandals Resorts, who we have worked with for several years, has a Mother’s Day promotion this year that is quite unique. They are currently running their “Maycation Giveaway” which not only celebrates Mother’s Day, but also Teacher Appreciation Week, National Nurses’ Day and Military Month. Every day for the month of May one deserving mother, teacher, nurse or military member will be rewarded with a complimentary 7-Day / 6-night luxury vacation for two at any Sandals or Beaches Resort of their choice*, for a grand total of 31 giveaways.

Participants are invited to visit the Sandals website at www.sandals.com/maycation/ and fill out a registration form. They then have to nominate someone they believe that “Rocks” who may be a mother, nurse, a teacher and/or an active or retired military person who they believe is deserving of a #SandalsMaycation. Participants must only nominate someone with whom they are personally acquainted with and must have the nominee’s permission and include their contact information. They may also nominate themselves if they feel that they fall into any of those categories. Part of the nomination process asks entrants to explain why the nominee rocks by writing up to 250 characters and also uploading a photo of the nominee.

Winners will be determined in four separate random drawings during the month of May. The first drawing will be conducted this Friday, May 10, and the last one on May 31. There will be a total of four Grand Prize winners and 27 First Place Winners.

Each Grand Prize Winner will receive a 7-day/6-night Luxury vacation for two in a Butler/Love Nest Suite® at any one of the 16 Sandals Resorts of the winner’s choice located in Jamaica, Antigua, St. Lucia, The Bahamas, Barbados or Grenada. Each Butler suite offers the utmost in privacy and plush elegance, including 24-hour room service with professionally trained butlers. Additional amenities offered at any Sandals are inclusive of all meals, unlimited premium brand beverages, daily & nightly entertainment, all land and water sports, including daily scuba diving, snorkeling and airport transfers. However, airfare is not included in any of these prize packages. Total value of each of these packages is $5,360.

Each First Prize Winne’s package will will receive a 7-day/6-night Luxury vacation for two in a Entry Level Deluxe Category Suite at any one of the 16 Sandals Resorts as indicated above or their Beaches Resorts located in Turks & Caicos or Jamaica. The same additional amenities are also part of the package, not including airfare. Total value of each of these packages is $3,556.

This Mother’s Day unfortunately I won’t be sharing with my two daughters. One just moved into a new apartment last weekend and the other daughter is closing on her first home on Friday. Sandals is awarding travel agents a Million Dollars in prize money!

We have been working with Sandals Resorts now for many years assisting them with sweepstakes. Most of their sweepstakes have been targeted to consumers giving away stays to both couples and families at their various resorts. However, right now they just recently launched their biggest ever sweepstakes targeted to travel agents called the Million Dollar Multiplier Sweepstakes.

During the next twelve months eligible travel agents can enter the Sweepstakes by completing a booking with a client to any Sandals or Beaches Resort. Travel Agents have to visit the Sandals online TA Portal to first register for the sweepstakes and then every eligible booking that the agent makes will earn them an entry into that month’s drawing. Each booking must be a minimum of a three-night stay.

There are a total of 50-$1,500 Grand Prizes, 100-$1,000 First Prizes, and 1,450-$50 Second Prizes that will be awarded throughout the Sweepstakes Period totaling $900,000 in prizes! Each month either 133 or 134 winners will be drawn from all the eligible entries.

They are also running a similar sweepstakes just for travel agents in Canada which is awarding $100,000 in prizes. So the total of both sweepstakes equals One Million Dollars to the travel agent community!
