NatureSweet Tomatoes just kicked off their second sweepstakes that they are running this year with us. They are a new client that we will be working with throughout 2018. The NatureSweet Spring Sweepstakes is offering the chance for three grand prize winners to each receive a Yeti ® Cooler Prize Pack which has a value of $500.

NatureSweet is inviting people to enter online by visiting NatureSweetSweeps.com, filling out the form and submitting a photo that shows them, their friends, or their family enjoying tomatoes. Entrants also have the option of posting their photo to their Instagram account first and then including the Instagram URL address of the posted photo in the proper field on the entry form. The sweepstakes runs till May 21 when we will then conduct the random drawing to determine the three lucky winners.

We are again using the Shortstack Application to build the entry form and collect all the entrant’s data and the photos. All of Shortstack’s entry pages are mobile friendly from the start with Shortstack’s “One Campaign for any screen” design philosophy. They added some new features to the platform last year that make adding CSS coding very easy for those of us that don’t have much programming experience. If you would like more details on how to set up a promotion utilizing the Shortstack platform, please feel free to contact me. It’s a great tool and it also includes a great support team. We will soon be using the application to create a campaign that allows for hashtag entries and pulls in the posted photos from either Instagram or Twitter. So look for that post soon.

NatureSweet started off the year with their Snacking for the Big Game Sweepstakes which coincided with the NFL’s kickoff of the road to the Super Bowl They are promoting this new sweepstakes similar to their first sweepstakes, in various grocery stores with point of sale pieces that match the graphic above.

Since this Spring Sweepstakes just launched this week we don’t see any photos posted yet. We’ve given our client’s team accessibility to the campaign so that they can approve or disapprove the photo to be posted on the site. I recall my very first photo upload sweepstakes about 8 years ago that we did which didn’t have this capability where photos were automatically posted. You would not believe what some people posted. So no inappropriate photos with tomatoes will be seen here!

Lane Bryant has been a client of ours now for many years and we have done several promotions for them. Last May I wrote this post about their new “THIS BODY” campaign which included the “THISBODY” Sweepstakes that we helped them run. Now we’re helping Lane Bryant with their “Inspired by ThisBody” Contest that they kicked off on March 24.

The THIS BODY campaign originally featured a series of plus-size models wearing everything from fashionable outfits to nothing at all, each celebrating the female form in all its unadulterated glory. Plus-size models Tara Lynn, Denise Bidot and Georgia Pratt along with Ashley Graham and Precious Lee stared in the campaign’s video. Ashley Graham and Precious Lee were also featured in last year’s historic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and Ashley was back in this year’s issue as well.

This year’s This Body campaign has focused on “Women who break the mold” and features women artists that are “Inspired by ThisBody”. Lizzo featured here is a singer and activist who is quoted as saying “When I just decided to let my body do what it wanted to do and focus on what’s important to me, I realized that I liked what I saw.”

The “Inspired by ThisBody” Contest invited women to submit a brief description about a person that inspires them. To help encourage women to participate, the ThisBody website states “To the women who inspire us every day. To the women you inspire. To all the bad-ass women out there… we see you. And we’re taking over the world together. ”

The submission period just ended on April 5 and the contest received over 2,000 stories on amazing women. Now people are invited to vote for their favorite inspiration story up until April 12. Once that is completed a panel of judges will choose the Grand Prize winner based on the following criteria: Overall appeal of entrant’s story (75%) and Creativity of description (25%). The winner will receive a $1,000 Lane Bryant gift card.

Read some of their stores and then ask yourself who inspires you?

A new tourism campaign recently launched by The Montana Office of Tourism and Business Development focuses on telling Montana Big Sky Country stories to draw in visitors. Their short film series features ordinary people who are chasing their own brand of adventure. Open Road, the first episode in the Sky’s The Limit series, was used to launch the Sky’s the Limit Open Road Sweepstakes.

MontanaBigSkyVisitors are invited to follow adventure-seeking twin sisters Gale and Laura Straub as they road trip through Montana, making pit stops to explore hidden treasures along the way. Gale and Laura had been dreaming of a Montana road trip since skirting the state on a cross-country journey when they were 16 years old. “We always had it in the back of our heads to go back to Montana, but, as the story always goes, life got in the way,” says Gale.

Their journey begins with hot springs in mind, as Laura had never seen one (or swam in any natural body of water, for that matter). But the pair soon found themselves immersed in the richness and variety of Montana’s less-traveled roads and charming small towns.

MontanaDay3“We hiked, swam, soaked in hot springs, camped, sat by the fire. We relaxed. We drove down empty roads and kicked up dust. I rolled a fragrant hop growing wild on the side of the road in my hands until it fell apart. We saw wild animals, mountain ranges, families of flowers, dozens of landscapes at every time of day. We talked. We were together,” said Laura.

The sweepstakes offers a chance to win a similar Open Road adventure as the twins experienced. A four-day suggested itinerary includes the following:
